| Saturday | Maydena Cabins. Luxury self contained A/C cabins | Saturday morning visit the famous Salamanca Market. Leave your purchases with Moto Adventure for safe keeping when you pick up your motorcycle (around 1pm). Visit MONA on the way to the stunning Derwent Valley. Follow the Derwent River towards its source, experience glorious river views and winding roads. Find where beer comes from in the Hop fields and Oast houses of the Upper Derwent. Visit Russell Falls and Tall Trees reserve before entering Tasmania’s famous South West Wilderness and Maydena. | 120 |
| Sunday | Take the Sunday night flight home. | Starting in Maydena on Sunday morning, ride the famous motorcycling road to Lake Pedder and Strathgordon. Return to Hobart Via Hamilton and Bothwell. Weekend Getaways Now A Wonderful Reality
Just a quick reminder that with Jetstar and Virgin now offering super low airfares into Hobart, you can grab a quick getaway for a super low rate.
The trouble with the really cheap airfares (I had a mate grab return trip from the Gold Coast for $133 last week!) is you have to be quick – so don’t hesitate to give me a call on 0447 556 189 if you need super quick confirmation that we’ll have the bike you’re after for a quick weekend (or longer) getaway.

We supply:
- Quality late model motorcycle either BMW 1200, Suzuki 1250, Triumph Tiger 800, Suzuki V Strom 650, BMW 650, Honda 400 depending upon your experience and preference. All motorcycles are equipped with luggage capacity.
- Pub and Bed & Breakfast accommodation starting and finishing in Hobart.
- Complimentary meal and breakfast at Shipwrights Arms.
- Roast Dinner Breakfast and Free lunch at Maydena
- Full face Helmet, fabric motorcycle Jacket, and gloves, if required.
- Guests are welcome to supply own helmets, but they must be approved for use in Australia.
- Maps and a suggested itinerary.
- Motorcycle comprehensive insurance – The insurance excess is $3500.
- MAIB Injury insurance is included in bike registration whilst you are riding one of our motorcycles.
- We recommend you have your own travel insurance to protect you in the case of injury or illness other than whilst riding.
- Pick up service in the unlikely event something goes wrong. (free pick up if the bike lets you down, your cost if you have a problem we didn’t cause).
