All of these bikes are very clean, none or insignificant damage, running well. Their only sin is higher than average kilometres caused by being ridden round and round Tasmania. They are not city bikes, all country kilometres, and no gravel roads, so clutch, brakes, and engine oil always warm which is the best possible scenario for minimum wear and tear.

We have moved to ‘somewhat’ more luxurious accommodation.

We are now even closer to the heart of Hobart’s tourist precinct. Very close to Salamanca, and all waterfront hotels. not to mention being very handily located opposite the Telegraph Hotel in Brooke Street, Hobart Waterfront.

We are open most days, so just wander by and say hello some time. We look forward to seeing you.

 

Another brand new member of our fleet.  Triumph Tiger 800 XR is now ready for fun.

Like all our bikes he is fitted with panniers, top box, heated grips and ABS. This one also has a centrestand and Barkbuster hand guards.

Our most popular bikes are now also fitted with Tourtech lockable GPS mount, to keep the fantastic Garmin 590 GPS’s safe.

The new XR range of Tigers have addressed most of the ‘issues’ of the earlier bikes.  The power is up, the throttle has lost its suddenness, and the clutch switch has been redesigned and is far more reliable.

The Tiger is immensely fun, and surprisingly comfortable bike, with plenty of power and a real peppiness to its handling.  Not a sports bike, but a fast and well behaved tourer.

The brand new Suzuki Vstrom 650 is exactly the same as they all have been since 2012. Why change? It is a perfect cruiser for Tasmania. It is a very comfortable bike for exploring one or two up, with it’s large screen, thick roomy seat, and ideal handlebar position.

Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive

After numerous requests for Automatic and feet first motorcycles we have added this immensely comfortable and relaxed tourer. The Big Burgman has a very big fairing, huge windscreen thick seat and ideally positioned handlebars making it the most comfortable and easiest to ride bikes in our fleet. Ample power from the watercooled 650cc and plenty of ground clearance for Tassies tricky roads.
